Hi all, I am new to this forum, I am having real issues rooting my Note 7. If anyone has experience with this that can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

"V", Verizon version N7? Nope, no root available AFAIK. Same with Verizon version S7. I believe it's due to there's no way to release the locked bootloader on these devices.

That sucks >.< Looks like I bricked mine. Cant find the original firmware to go back to after what I can only imagine is a version that didn't really work.

unless you have been living under a blanket, you should know that the Note 7 is not "legal in the wild" anymore.
All of them are under recall and you are required to turn it in for a refund and get a replacement phone of your choice.
No one will ever waste the time to figure out how to root an "illegal phone" and that is exactly what the Note 7 is now.

That was exactly why, thank you for the information.
Hold onto it. Maybe someone will release firmware someday. Doubt it. Better yet wait 20 years and sell it as a memento!

Haha, I'm going to hold onto it. I am in love with the Note series so if there is a chance of getting it back I will. If it comes down to it maybe Ill use it to rob a bank or something.
