Try going into you phone settings "default applications"

Then look for "set as default" and tap "Show system apps"

Now look for "Google reader" open and clear defaults.

ok try this then

Open Settings on your tablet. Touch Apps, and then touch the More Options menu in the upper right corner. Touch Default appsChoose and touch the category you want to update, and then touch the app you want to make the default.

Go to "Reset app preferences"

When resetting your app preferences, this will resetall disabled apps, notification restrictions, defaultapps, background data restrictions and permissions restrictions. Please Note: You will not lose your existing app data if you reset app preferences.

reset app preferences
disabled apps
notification restrictions for apps
default apps
background data restrictions for apps
permission restrictions

none are clickable. cancel and reset are the only options
thanks for your help
