Smaller facebook widget?

Hi All

I've been on a mass retheming kick today. Adding home++ and a whole shedload of widgets to streamline my use of the phone. However after re-organising everything I found that the facebook widget is just that bit to dang big.

From what I can tell its 4 x 2. What I'd really like is 4x1 or something similar. Im not bothered about having the "share" or "update status" bit on the top I'd just like a widget that shows my friends status's like the current one, ie it rotates through the most recent.

I had a look on the marketplace but couldnt seem to find any. Anyone have some suggestions?

I'm also interested in this for the fact that my notifications are lacking with the pre-installed facebook widget..anyone have any input on bloo??..that may just be an app though, sorry im a noob

I'd like a similar one too, one that is 4x1, however with just the status update box to update my status. If it updated Twitter at the same time, then it would be perfect!

HTC's friend stream / peep widget does this quite nicely, think it is 4x2 though which I can live with. However, using a different home app, there is no access to HTC widgets!

i'd take a simple 1x1 widget that tells me how many notifications i have, like the fb site does currently.

and by tapping the widget it would open the "official" fb app to the correct item. i say the official app as tbh the only thing i am missing from it is a decent notification system and widget for the same thing. the speed of the official app is better than other fb clients, bloo for example.

There's no other facebook app with a smaller widget. I believe the official app is the only one with a widget.

I used to like Bloo a lot, but seems like the app has been getting worse and worse.
