Smaller phone wanted

I am due to upgrade and all the phones are getting bigger. I had a Motorola Droid Razr and then went to a Motorola Turbo. I really miss the size of my old Razr. Is there anything out there that is bucking the trend of bigger is better. I just cannot get an iPhone 4se even though I like the size. Just seems 4.5-5" size just fits my hands better and does not seem so bulky. I don't game don't need to watch a movie on the thing. So far all I have seen is the Google Pixel.
This is for Verizon in the US.

Moto G4 Play is 5 inches and works on Verizon. (Moto G5 Plus is 5.2 inches)

Galaxy S7 and S6 are 5.1 inches.

HTC One M9 (2015) is 5.0 inches.

Going back to 2014 I see the HTC One M8. Not many options with the limitations of Verizon.
