Smaller Zoom?

I was notice coming from my pixel xl to my note 8 that i can make the screen zoom out more on the pixel over the note 8. Is there any way to zoom out more on the note 8?
 
i don't know anything about that particular app,


the pixel and note 8 are different devices and also different screens, with the note 8 having the "infinity" display.

perhaps its limited to conventional screens and not able to be zoomed out to the note 8's max screen size.
 
Actually my pixel xl had more image on screen then the note 8. Which is what I do not get since the note 8 is higher resolution. If i am correct
 
my point is the screen tech is different betwixt both devices, and perhaps the dev of that particular app did not make the app compatible with the screen size on the note 8.
 
Settings->Display->Screen zoom and font
Set Zoom to middle and dropp font left 2 places to compensate so you don't see massive text.

If the zoom setting resolves your isue please let s know
