Smart Keyboard Pro gestures?

I can't seem to get the gestures to work?
I went to their website but there's nothing there on how to use the feature..

Is this what you mean?

1. From the keyboard go to the keyboard settings by holding the 123 key.
2. In the settings, click Gestures.
3. Click the Swipe options and select your choice.

Thanks, I've done that. But how do I actually use the gestures?
I swipe my finger across the keyboard and nothing happens except some keys get pressed..
