Smart Lock not so smart

When I started using Smart Lock when in a trusted place or connected to a trusted device the phone would be unlock. Now it is locked all the time even when at my trusted place (home) or connected via Bluetooth to a trusted device. This is getting to be a bit frustrating. Any suggestions on how to repair the glitch?

Installing the app again worked for me. But the whole idea seems a bit buggy for me too.

I am referencing the built in feature under lock screen in settings. Not a separate app.

I haven't used that feature, sadly. But it helps if you write it as a review on their store. Developers are very sensitive for that.

I've never, since the day it was invented, gotten it to consistently work based on location. It does work really well for Bluetooth in my car as long as I make sure it's unlocked after connecting. Doesn't even try to work for my cheap watch though - and I swear it used to.
What really, really annoys me is that you can't use trusted wifi, like, you know, your house. How incredibly stupidly frustrating!

It annoys, when it inlocks the phon to wrong persons

On Saturday December 17th 2022 my phone updated to Android 13. Since then the smart lock feature has functioned much better.
