My phone has been fine over the past couple of months, and recently i have noticed that it's been getting hot when ive been using it - to which i have cleared all the running programmes in the background and switched it off to cool down. I have also noticed that the charging times have been increasing from around an hour, upto just over 2 hours.
The other morning i took it off charge and it was 100%. It lasted me the majority of the day, and when i got home i went to put it on charge. However it wouldn't connect properly and the charging light kept flickering. Eventually i left it over night to charge this time with a different cable and although it took the majority of the night to charge - it worked.
I tried charging it before it died on me and the power seemed to decrease even though the charging symbol was visible. The phone died on me, and so i left it over night again to charge. This time it's saying it's charging... but theres no charge to it. Says it's on 1 or 2%.
All i can get from the phone now is a red ring with a "need of charging" symbol inside. Sometimes i can get the Android message to show, but then the screen just goes black again.
Ive held down the power button for over 20 seconds, and tried holding down the power and volume buttons. Nothing seems to be working. I've also tried a wall socket plug, my laptop and a portable charger for charging the phone. Nothing seems to be working at this point.
