Smart voice recorder won't let me delete recordings

I have Smart Voice Recorder on my Sony Xperia. I have deleted all recordings through my computer, but the app on the phone won't let me in to refresh the list there, saying "Storage is not available. Please mount it back or change in the application's settings." What should I do? I can't use the recorder now and I can't empty out the list of (deleted) recordings that is supposedly taking up the storage.

Try going to settings>apps and select smart voice recorder and clear data, that should wipe it and free up that space.
