I have had a Fossil Q Founder smartwatch for over a year, and have purchased quite a number of Android Wear apps over this time. I have now got myself a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier smartwatch. Am I right to think that my apps on the Fossil are not compatible with the Gear S3? If yes, is there any way to get my apps onto the Gear S3?

Pretty sure the Samsung one isn't an Android wear device...
... Samsung decided they didn't want to play, and went off and invented their own Smartwatch operating system called Tizen. So the good news is you now have a brand new selection of apps to buy*
*the bad news is that you can't run Tizen apps on an android wear watch, and vice versa
