Help Smasung Galaxy Tab will not start and will not reboot

I have tried the following steps:

held down the power button to switch of the Tab

held down power and vol-down button until two icons appear ( Left icon is a box with an arrow coming out, right icon is Android doll with words “downloading…..” underneath ( Is this normal?) )

highlighted the left icon with the vol-down button

selected the right icon with the vol-up button



This brings up a Screen with Blue writing, a large Andoird doll in centre and yellow writing

Blue writing says

“Android system recovery <3e>

Vol up /down to move highlight;

Power button to select.

Reboot system now ( and is highlighted)

Apply update from external reset

Wipe data/ factory reset

Wipe cache partition

Apply update from cache



Yellow writing says

#MANUAL MODE#

--Updating application…..

Successfully updated application

--Applying Multi -CSC…

Applied the CSC-code : XSA

Successfully applied multi-CSC



Next I used Power button to select the first option “reboot system now”



Blue writing disappears… doll and yellow writing stay

Then Blank black screen

Then black screen with white “Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1”





Waiting waiting waiting- nothing happens

Am I missing something??? What can I try next? PLEASE Help
