sms app question

I installed chompSMS and used it as my default messaging app. Now the problem is, whenever I receive a message, I get notifications from chompSMS AND the default messaging app. Is there anything I can do so that I only get notifications from chompSMS?

Yup.
Go into default messaging app -> settings -> uncheck Notifications
