Hi!
I've been looking around and cannot find a solution. I keep getting an error message that my SIM card get's full of text messages and after that I can't receive any until I delete some (or all) from the SIM card. It seems like the messages are stored in both, the phone memory and the card, as after deleting them from the card, I can still see them in the Message app, and deleting them from the message app does not delete them from the SIM card, unless I explicitly go into the SIM card option (in the message app as well) and delete them there.
This is annoying, but I am also concerned that I might be loosing some messages when the phone is not receiving new ones. This happens after receiving about 30 messages or so.
Can someone help? How do I get the phone not to store messages into the SIM card automatically? Can I expand the number the card can store? (30 text messages don't seem like a lot...specially when the phone is configured to store 200 per thread with up to 20 MMS and that is not a problem... )
Thank you in advance!!!
BTW... I have a Galaxy s III with the following detailed info:
model number: SGH-I747
Android: 4.0.4
Baseband: I747UCLH9
Kernel: 3.0.8-985684

PS: About me... I am a newbie here, and also with Android. An old and happy Palm user that had to transition after Palm's demise... Also tried Apple products and liked them.. but thought to be bold and try something completely new! Thanks for the help.. and patience...
