sms in call log

hi,i am new to this forum ,i have the S3 with verizon,i just got the phone today,and so far the only issue i am having is my sms messages are showing up in my call log,even though i have it set to calls only..i am not rooted,i am using the phone stock,right out of the box,i have gingerbread,not jellybean..is anyone else with verizon having this issue? thank you!!

problem is it defaults back to "all" in call logs no matter how many times you change it to calls only

download Samsung Log Converter 4.0+ from the playstore and it will make call log "calls only" permanently
