Is there an SMS app with a sensible input box? By sensible I mean a box where I can see all 160 characters allowed all at once without needing to scroll. I have a Defy and at first I thought that maybe the screen was smaller than normal, so the input box was reduced in some way. But then the Defy PC applications also displays less than 160 characters of sms on the vast screen available, and finally throws up a totally unnecessary large window to display the whole message. Screen shots of other sms apps (Go and Handcent) suggest that only a fraction of the 160 characters allowed are visible during input. If no one can point me at an application, maybe someone can explain why something so basic that everyone has taken for granted for years is impossible.
