Help SMS Logging Contact Manager on ANdroid

Hi
Am tossing up between Galaxy and iPhone 4, need to see if any brothers here have seen such an app on Android, and better still if they are running it ok on the Galaxy.
App needs to be

a contacts manager that

1] logs and stores all TXT's/SMS's against that contact, and
2] logs and stores all email history against that contact

On the iPhone, STL Contacts Manager by the way it talks about it here looks the ants pants.
