sms messaging

Hi I'm new to android. Pls tell me how I can return to the messaging home page which shows all the convo threads when I'm viewing an sms msg. I know there is the back button but sometimes I have to press it many times before getting to that messaging home page. Thx a lot!

Select the envelope button at the bottom of the screen to return to all the SMS threads. If it does not show, you will have to use the back button to return to the threads.

I can see the envelope button if I press the home button, but that only brings me back to where I left off!

Have you tried a diffent app for texting? Some of them have more options when it comes to settings etc.

Oh yeah I am using gi sms pro now. Works splendidly. Thanks!
