Help SMS problem

hi,
the device im using does not show contact name in sms inbox instead NO CALLER ID with every sms appears, so i dont have a clue who is texting

2nd the sms does not give reply option, i have to go to compose sms evry time i have to reply if im able to guess who has sent the message
