Snapchat on samsung galaxy ace

Hi all. I am having a seemingly unresolvable problem with my samsung galaxy ace on snapchat. I am getting the message "sorry, this video cannot be played" for 99% of vids I receive. Now I have taken the following steps in a failed attempt to resolve the issue - downloaded MX media player - set this as the default video player - cleared the snapchat cache - restarted the phone. All this to no avail. Can anyone shed any further light?
 
Hello and welcome to the forums . snapchat .hmmmmm now did you have the box checked on side the unknown source in the settings this is for all apks
 
Well its not much being that everyone has posted it never worked
Feel free to contact the developer and ask them is the app going to update soon
