I heard that snapchat quality is better with the new update, im using pixel 2 XL and snapchat with this device is literally the worst that I have experienced, it's dark and quality sucks, any way to improve this?

Snapchat image quality should be improved with the February security update, which allows third-party apps (like Snapchat) to leverage the Pixel Visual Core to gain some of the processing magic the Pixel Camera uses for HDR+ and RAISR. Of course, it's still up to those apps to actually use those capabilities.

You might want to reach out to Snapchat support to see if they have any ideas.

I heard that its good at pixel 2 but not pixel 2 xl and the previous android I used had a better snap oneplus3t

The camera hardware and software is identical as far as I'm aware. I don't understand why the quality would differ between the Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL.
