Help snapping text to windows

When my Intercept had 2.1 and I enlarged the page and text, I would only have to scroll up and down to view, say a newspaper article. Since 2.2, I now have to scroll up and down as well as left and right. Any solutions? I am using the browser that came with the phone.

I think there's a default zoom setting you can change that affects that.
