Bring back the gaming glory days
Super Nintendo. Ah, remember the days. Super Mario Bros. Super Metroid. Yoshi's Island. Super Nintendo had so many great hits and great memories.
SNesoid Lite is a Super Nintendo emulator for your android phone that works just awesomely great. First off, I have to say that I have a Motorola Droid, which has plenty of CPU power to run this app without any real issues. The Lite version is the same as the full version except you can't save/load your game state.

SUPER NINTENDO ROMS
The first thing to notice about SNesoid is you will need game ROMS (obviously), so do a little google searching first and please dont complain in the app's comments about finding ROMS. They're out there rest assured. Download 'em to your sdcard and load 'em in this app and it's old school gaming fun.
CONTROLS
Ok, let's talk controls. Obviously the biggest issue with any game on android app is the controls, since there are a myriad of android devices with different abilities, such as trackballs, physical keyboards, etc. One great thing about Snesoid is the controls are so configurable. You can use a physical keyboard or use an on-screen virtual DPAD and buttons. I'm not very good with the virtual keyboard myself, so I use the physical keyboard since I'm on a Motorola DROID. You can even use the accelerometer or trackball
LOTS OF CONTROL OPTIONS
On the DROID the DPAD is on the right, but you can even flip the screen vertically in SNesoid and hold the DROID "upside down" to use the DPAD (although I dont' like playing it this way). A better bet for a droid is to use keyboard controls and then buy something called a "Game Gripper", which makes your droid equal to an old school nintendo controller! $15 dollars gives you a perfect portable emulator.
UPSIDE DOWN FOR LEFT DPAD
For those of you without physical keyboards you can opt for the on screen controls, which also support multitouch.

PROBLEMS
I did notice a little bit of lag in the app after the update on my device to android 2.1, because they limited the FPS to 30 in the operating system, but in the latest version of Snesoid this appears to be compensated for because I haven't seen it lag as bad since updating to the latest version.
YOU WON'T FIND THIS ON AN IPHONE!
You have to see the look on people's face when you pull out your phone and start up Mario Bros or Metroid though. This app shows one of the greatest things about the Android system: it's openness. In Apple land, an emulator such as this would never be allowed, since it runs "third party code". But on Android we are privileged to enjoy another full spectrum of games that you cant get on an iPhone!
