I finally made the switch! I took my Note 7 back and got the S7 Edge! I didn't want to do it.. But Sprint reps all but assured me that they would follow Samsung with the incentive program and allow us to trade it back in and get the Note 8 when it comes out! But this phone get hotter then my Note ever did!!

Riding it out until the newly released (TODAY)!
Huawei Mate 9 goes on sale.
5.9 screen
Dual sim cards
USB-C charging port
Four microphones for active noise cancellation during calls
Infrared blaster for controlling TVs...............Awesome!
3.5mm headphone jack
4,000mAh battery with fast charging
Fingerprint scanner
64GB storage
4GB RAM
On Big Red, hope I don't have to switch carriers.

I have not had the hot issue with my s7 edge, not even in VR. Hope everything is ok with your particular phone.

Really? It has gotten so hot it had me worried! I picked it up to check a message and had to put it right back down (it was charging)

I bought my girlfriend an S7 3 months ago and it gets hot during use! Huawei is sold at Best Buy unlocked. Just needs cdma radio. Specs say The Huawei Mate 9 opens up a whole world of connections with its patented integrated Nano SIM*+MicroSD slot and secondary card supporting WCDMA and GSM.

That doesn't sound good, maybe you should be worried. I have not had any issues with mine, only slightly warm during charging, nothing out of the ordinary. For the record, my Note 7 never got hot either.
