So Is The Thunderbolt The EVO-2 ? Will Sprint Get Its Own Version?

Expect the Evo2 to not be a rehash of an existing design on any other carrier.

Also, if you have an Evo already, there is pretty much no reason to bother with the Thunderbolt.

Thunderbolt's claim to fame is LTE, and the Evo has been 4g'ing it for awhile now.

Today's "4g" isn't even real 4g. But I've seen the speed tests and all that other jazz, and regardless of how long Sprint has had cell phone fake 4g, Verizon's is faster. Verizon has chosen to release a stable product rather than won the moon race.

It's fast while no one's using it. It won't stay as fast as it is now.

Not sure what's unstable about Wimax. When it's turned on, it's very stable. I get the same or better speeds than my cable wifi so no complaints.

Lol, wait til you get a phone with lte before making such bold announcements.

I have an EVO and 4g with Sprint and it is lightning fast...excellent. Even 3g with my Optmus is fast. I guess it matters where you are of course, which is why different providers are better for different people. It is unique to each person and situation.

I did a speed test with 4g in the kansas city area and maxed at 8.2 mbs and averaged around 7.5 mbs. That's faster than my cable internet BTW, unfortunately where I live I don't get 4g. It is all relative to your location. The one thing I would like to see is it be more reliable and in more locations. It will come though.
