Really bad snowfall today...

I didn't see a single gritter on the road today. None of the roads near me were gritted. The M6 (Junction 10-6) was an utter skate rink. The roads leading upto my house make are terrifying...even on winter tyres. I have already seen two collisions on these roads tonight.

Seriously, why don't they just admit that the UK is a complete bunch of morons who cant cope when it snows for one month out of the twelve we have...

All this talk of stockpiled grit/salt is ****** IMHO because there ain't none being put on the roads.

You seriously thought they would have learned from lastyears debacle...

I pay thousands in council tax a year, gas, petrol, trains, food its all going up and yet we are still getting bummed by those in their marble towers.........

I decided a looonnng time ago that I will never retire here....never..
 
the councils here (Ireland) have done a marvelous job TBH
Yay the CWs have started working :D

That said the hill to my house had to be closed off due to compacted snow
 
snow... bwahahahaha.... I wore shorts today (although we do have a cold front pushing through currently)

still, the coldest we get is right at freezing. The last time it snowed here beyond a flurry....1989. Time before that.... 1954

you guys go ahead and enjoy that frosty the snowman jizz
