You will need to restart your contract but the plan on the 3G is only 10 dollars more a month. That is if you get the basic plan. So basically you will be paying $199 for the 8GB or $299 for the 16GB, plus tax. Then 10 dollars more than what you already pay to AT&T when your next bill is due.
