So my experience with an iphone 4S on BYOD

I know this is all android hoo-ah and it, but in reality, the 4S picked up 4G, and wasn't all to bad, the screen size is similar to something a child should use. After 3 days I couldn't take it anymore and found my old ATT Galaxy S2, and man, I feel alot better lol, and btw, the S2 is picking up H+

Yeah I've never been a fan of the iPhone always felt more simplistic to me like you said more like a child's phone. I have a few friends who have the iPhones and I have used them and really nothing special. I actually got one of my buddies to switch to an S3 and at first it was hard for him to figure something's out because he was so used to IOS but now he loves the difference.

I use a Galaxy S3 as my everyday phone. I tried a LG optimus F3 and i like it because of the awesome battery life but man that small 4 inch screen is so tiny. I don't like it one bit. I guarantee you that of you make half of iPhone users try a bigger phone they would never go back.

screen size is a strictly personal thing. I don't know where you people carry this huge 5 inch screen phones, but I love f3 and one of the reasons is, moderate size of the phone. I can carry it in pocket of fitted jeans, I can navigate it with one hand which is a huge plus for me. It does not look like some kind caricature of a tablet in my hands. It does not take too much space in my cycling jersey, and if I need to grab it fast its easily reachable.

There are many positive things about 4 inch screens

not to turn it into a debate/argument(same thing as far as I'm concerned)

To answer your initial question, it fits in my pocket (even with an otterbox defender), and I can also do all the things you've mentioned with all my 5+ higher screened phones. I also have bear claws for hands, so if it works for you, it works, for me, I gotta have the pseudo phablet phone.

And yes size matters, but it's all about how you use it, I literally have difficulty typing on any phone smaller then an S3.

I would honestly go as far to call it todays blackberry of yesterday, it's built to be a smartphone, nothing more, nothing less, and gets the job done, no frillies like the Samsung, HTC and LG devices.

I'm myself 6' and have pretty massive hands. 4 inch screen is more than enough. I love to lay down and browse my phone. I always have my other hand behind my head as pillow. I tried it with L9 but phone slips off when holding it upside down and typing. Also I can't cover whole screen with thumb only.

true that, im back on an s4 temporarily and I've got no issues with the screen size, dunno, long as it works for you.

Big screen seems to be less of an issue for girls, I've noticed that. I guess it's because maybe.... size matters j/k, but on a serious note they just stash their phones inside purses all the time. I find it really hard to move around with big cellphone bag on my belt.

dunno about that one, my ex used to wear her note 2 with the clip

Reminds me of my motion in one handed use. but my atrix is much larger. I do the same thing with it and my thumbs gets edge to edge on the atrix so this works for me even though I am a tad bit smaller than you in height.

I'm still debating if I'm upping my note 2 to the 3, I've got a feeling they'll come out with an active version as soon as I get my regular one
