So no beats for me?

The subject has probably been covered here before but I couldn't find it in a search. I wanted to get some beats by see for my Note but it seems that were not comparable, unless I'm wrong, what is everyone else using?
 
You can use Beats, but the mic and controls may or may not work. My Philips O'Neill Specked has mic and control for iPhone but it works.

Honestly though, I don't really understand buying Beats when there are headsets that sound better for half the price.

Sennheisers or Bose headsets cost less than Beats but have better balance on audio quality. Beats is only great for hiphop music. Try playing anything else and the quality makes you cringe.

Philips O'Neill series headsets are for those looking for quality on a budget. Even the $60 Philips O'Neill Snugs are rated higher in quality than the $300 Beats Solo HD on some reviews I've seen.
 
I'm most interested in the Mic. I'm also not a fan of the.noise cancellation earbuds. I wish I could use my old iPhone earphones
 
Oh Galaxy Note? It should have had a headset in the box with mic. Also as I said, the Philips O'Neill Specked earphones with mic and volume control works with Samsung devices. Nokia bluetooth headsets with mic also works for Samsung devices. Basically just go into a store and start trying out their headsets and see which one works.
