I used Kingo root to root my ZTE Z828. Had to do it twice.
I had to partition my sd card twice because it refused to work in ext2.
New problem. Link2sd open, and prompts me for the type of file system the second partition is.
I choose ext4 because that is what it is now. It said does not have needed permissions please hit allow or grant.
But when I was done rooitng the first thing superuser asked me was if I wanted to allow Link2D to have root access, which I hit allow.
I rebooted my phone, thinking maybe that might help and now i have a mount error that says a script can't be created because not allowed to SU.
Which lead to another message that said i need to root my device again to get the su binary.
I backed up my sd card before I started this adventure. Not with nandroidbackup I just copied it to an ubuntu computer.
So Basically now I have a phone with no space on it and none of my applications.
Should I just say to hell with it and put all the data back on my sd card, or is there a fix for this endless loop of frustration.
Running android 5.1
