So who went way too early?

I know I did. I was at the store at 5am. Not only was I the first one there, but no one else showed up until like 7. The store had over 200 units and only 20 people on line. I'm so tired but I finally have my G1!

I did te 5am thing too, totally didn't need to. The store on the phone said to show up really early, so I did.

Someone else showed up in line at about 6:30. What really bugged me was the people walking in all willy-nilly after 8.

Anyway, whatever. I got my G1 and this thing is awesome.

The store opened at 8am, an hour early. But I got up late and arrived at 8:45am. There was only 3 people ahead of me getting set up so I just played with the demo for a while. They said they got 50 in their store.

The girl tried to show me how to use it but obviously was not fully trained on it. According to her, the G1 guru was working at another store today.

Went to Best Buy in Chadler, AZ and got there at 8:45am with the store opening at 10:00am. I was the first and only one there at opening to buy a G1. Some guy came in about 15 mins after the store opening to buy one outright. Oh yeah... FYI... BEST BUY MOBILE IS HONORING THE $179 UPGRADE PRICE... NOT THE $349 PRICE... just a throwing that out there since I am one of the managers for BBYM.
