Hi i have the Alcatel One Touch Fierce XL 5054N it runs Lollipop 5.1.1 I am having some issues with it since installing an app. The phone will turn on and get to the Android is starting part after optimizing the apps and the screen goes black. It is still on though, the buttons on the bottom light up and vibrate when pushed and the power button turns the screen off and also brings up the power off menu and the shutdown animation plays when its turning off. "Google play services isn't responding"popped up a couple times as well. Could it be the launcher isnt loading? Ive started in safe mode, I've done a factory reset as well. Ive looked online for the firmware but can't find it for that model. The phone has only been out for a month, i havent found any support for it yet. Would i be able to install firmware Via ADB sideload if I find it? I did a titanium backup as well but not sure what i can do with it via ADB sideload. Sideload is the onlycommunication i can get with my phone. Anything i have tried returns with the error footer is wrong and signature could not be verified. I rooted the phone with kingroot and then used an app called supersu.me that wassupposed to replace Kinguser but after the reboot is when this started. There was a option to unlock boot loader in developer options, I turned it on. One lastthing, i know its probably a no already, but you only learn from asking, the Alcatel Onetouch Pop 3 or the IDOL x is almost the same phone, would that firmware work? In mybuild description it is modeled from Pop355. Except that is running 4.4.4. The only support Alcatel has is the One Touch Upgrade but my phone isn't onit since an update has not beenissued.

*update* I got a new one and copied the system image before I did anything, how can I use that to fix the other one. I can only side load from recovery and it says footer is wrong signature verification failed?

Get into download mode and use adb fastboot, thru install update with ADB sideload. Then just type Fastboot-w then reboot, should be set after that.

The problem here is that you need to clean the dalvic cache. I recognise this issue from messing about with custom ROMs.
If you need help with this, you can usually just search Google for "reset dalvic cache [device model]" or "reset dalvic cache [stock/custom ROM]"

I've got the stock firmware for the Fierce XL 5054n. If anybody needs it, feel free to email me at koloraokiller848@gmail.com

Here's the 100% tested, proven, & working way to obtaining SuperSU root access...

[DO NOT USE THE SUPER-SUME APP. YOU WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE]

***Extract the FierceXL.zip and place the mrw folder to the root of your INTERNAL STORAGE***

2) Install the Kingroot .apk

3) Install the Terminal Emulator .apk I've provided for your convenience

4) Run Terminal Emulator & type:

su
sh /storage/sdcard0/mrw/root.sh

6) The process will start & take a minute with a few error messages; Don't worry, it's part of the process.

7) After the process is complete, open Supersu and update binary. Select "Normal" as you won't have a custom recovery to update it with.

8) Reboot if SuperSU doesn't do it for you. Don't fear a bootloop. If your phone doesn't boot fully within 2 mins, reboot. It will work the 2nd time around
