Software to organize contacts on my phone

Hey,
is there any PC-software which I can use to organize contacts on my phone?

Is there any possibility to copy all contacts from my SIM card (comes from another old handy) to the htc desire?
Further, I only want to show up contacts on the phone but I always want my desire to store a copy of each contact on the SIM card...

Okay I synced now with google contacts so I can edit contacts there... It's a pity that I can't easily drag/drop the numbers (if a contact has several numbers) to change the order on the phone too. And it's not possible to have a little note for each numer, something like "hotel bar".
