Help Software Update

Th other day, I started the software update for my phone. After waiting on my phone to finish, I noticed I was unable to get calls or text messages. I cannot send either of them as well. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

I wonder if dialing ##72786# on the dial pad to re-provision would do the trick. It doesn't clear your settings or data.

Going from ICS to jb it is highly recommend to do a FDR.

I agree. Undoubtedly, that is the best way to ensure that you end up with your device in the best working order after a major update.

For those that are loath to lose their setup, it can't hurt to try re-provisioning to see if it cures their ails before blowing everything away. I didn't do the FDR because it's my wife's phone and if anything changes, I get an earful.
