I have a Galaxy S3 and solved the issue regarding the requirement to click load more details on every email 
. It has nothing to do with an corporate account (which mine has). After samsung downloading the new version of kit kat, it reset a system setting that was requiring me to click on load more details on every email I wanted to open 
. I had to go back into the email's account and under the account settings for the email account, choose: sync settings, size to retrieve emails, size to retrieve emails, all. Kit Kat had reset this setting to "headers only" which is why I was having the problem. You can also choose a setting when roaming. Note this will only load more details of new emails that come in. Any emails received prior to changing the setting will still need to click on download more details.
