MOD NOTE - Good guy here, but really needs help, please jump ahead to Post #5

Thank you everyone but I pulled a noob move wiped everything am stuck in ap fastboot with no battery and no cmd's to charge and I can't get past that screen because it says battery to low

I'm not an expert at the Razr - I have a Droid 3 - but I think that you'll find all that you need here, at xda-developers.com: MOTOROLA Tools [Specially for Noobs] - xda-developers

I assume that you have a Windows computer. You'll need to get the Moto drivers for the Razr, if you don't already have them. You'll need to get the RSD Lite app. You'll need the appropriate SBF file (depending on whether you had Gingerbread or were updated to ICS - you should be able to find them here: [INDEX] Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX Resources and Features Guide [08/18/2012] - xda-developers )

You already know how to get into Fastboot mode, which RSD Lite needs in order to flash the SBF file. If you can, I would try to charge the battery using the wall charger for several hours to make sure that it's close to fully charged before proceeding.

I hope that all of this helps...

If you're already stuck in fast boot, just download matts razr utility 1.81 and when you plug your phone in there is an unbrick option. It should fix it if not just use option 1 to return to stock ics 211

thank you all but none of this has worked.and i remember having a file that had an "unbricking option" but dont remember what it was. and the software isnt acknowledging the charge or allowing anything to happen due to low battery power,so i cant flash anything. It looks like i have two options

1)Try to send it in and get it fixed which is going to be kinda hard considering i wasnt the original owner meaning i didnt buy it brand new

2)hardwire the battery pray to god it works and restore stock and then take a well deserved brake for a day......or 3 lol i really appreciate your help guys.

but i feel i am up a creek without a paddle which is a hard position to put me in considering how resourceful i am.I could try to go to one of the motorola or boost stores by my way and ask them if they have that $45 factory charger so i dont have to pay that much for a tiny mistake...or something idk i think of though

I believe there is a way to make it charge in fast boot. I read somewhere about a series of button presses that bypasses it and let's you charge.
Lemme see if I can find it, one second.

Ok, I feel like I missed something here. Why don't you have a battery? Does it not have a charge to it or is the battery physically no there?

EDIT: Ok, sorry I was overlooking the fact that you are in fastboot.

This should help you charge it up without that overpriced cable.

Hey guys, I recently found an alternative way to fix the low battery problem when your in AP Fastboot and able to get it to charge without the soldering of usb cable or the factory cable. So for those who do not want to open up their razrs or pay 40 bucks for a cable use my method.
-Make sure you have the charging cable connected to the phone and the cable to an outlet not an computer.
-While in the ap fastboot screen with the low battery problem, just push & hold Vol - and Vol+ and power buttons at the same time for 10 seconds
-Then IMMEDIATELY press and hold Vol - and Vol+ for 10 seconds to get back to the boot menu.
-Then once in the boot menu go down the the one option that has the word tools on it which is the last one.
-If it does not do anything just press volume up or down and go back to the tools and click power (enter) again.
-Then you should be boot to the M logo.
-Then after a bit you will be presented to an battery icon charging your phone!
-After a good charge up to 50% or so download the program called

Droid RAZR Utility:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1486718

-Download that program and make sure your phone is back in AP fastboot and your battery should say OK meaning you can now program again.
-From there run the Droid RAZR Utility you just download it and choose option 1 and let it do its thing.
-Once done you should have the original stock rom and if you had root you must re-root it.
-Please message back for any questions! I am happy to help because I know how frustrating this is!

yea i saw that.i tried it to but every time i go in bf tools which is where youre suppose to go after all the button pushes it says bat life to low connect data cable usb for virtually anything i try to do it tells me that thank you very much though thinking about hardwiring but it sounds like one heck of a task, and im pretty much on the slender side(skinny fingers) and i still dont think ill be able to do it all that stuff is way to small and i dont even have the appropiate tools e.g.t5 security screwdriver speaking of screwd-driver lol i have to make the most of a situation otherwise stress takes its toll and we al thats not good

What I posted above (same thing carracerz linked to) should allow you to get the battery charged up. You have to be plugged into a wall outlet though. I don't see any mention of any other tools needed for charging. It should just take you to the boot menu. Once you get it charged you should be able to use Matt's Utility to get the phone back to stock or unbricked.

thank you guys for all your help i believe that you actually can restore your razr to life should you folow the instructions but i went ahead and hardwired and the data is being pushed as we speak it was taking to long to download (long enough to make me do it lol) so i decided whats the worst that can happen.I noticed results almost instantly due to behavioral issues i.e what it would do,say,or how it would act based off of the command i would try to run but i did and even posted two videos so far on youtbe the name is pretty much self explanatory

Thank you all so much i really do appreciate it :D

i saw that thread before posting this thread and got really high hopes and even misinterpreted a couple of steps and confused them with others thats when earlymon hmu and boy was i glad...in the midst of searching for something i came acroos the hardwire trick wasnt sure if i could do it so it took alot to muster up the courage to do so but it worked now its on stock and time for a break thank you so much guys i hope we work together in the future on a more positve note on the bright side you can check out my youtube page cubanbeas180 and send people there should they want to do the same i uploaded multiple videos detailing the process....Hope it helps others the way it helped me its kinda simple as long as you follow the instructions:D
