Help [SOLVED] New Nexus 7 Google Apps email problem

Hi,

I just got a new Nexus 7 and I cannot get the Gmail app to work with my Google Apps email. It constantly says it's waiting to sync but I never get any email. I have auto sync enabled and Gmail sync enabled for this account and I even tried removing and adding the account again, but nothing worked. Does anybody know if there's a way to fix this?

Do you have your gmail account setup for POP3 or IMAP? Check using the account settings on a PC.

You could also try clearing cache and data via Settings -> Apps -> All -> Gmail -> Clear Cache and Data.

Right now I have both POP and IMAP enabled. Should I just leave one of them enabled?

I also tried clearing the cache and that didn't change anything...

I thought you could only have one enabled? Try disabling POP, see if that helps.

I left only IMAP enabled and it's still not working... Any other ideas?

Do you have 2 step verification enabled on the account at all? I know that has caused issues for me in the past.

Outwith that, I got nuthin!

So after I disabled POP it didn't work so I removed and added the account again and now it's working. Thanks a lot for the help!
