Root [SOLVED] [Q] First Google play missing, Then Force close ERROR

Hello I have Samsung Galaxy mini and flashed it with stock Froyo 2.2 ROM but when I installed the ROM and I didn't find the Android Market\Google Play App, But I searched for this problem at google and the only solution for this problem is downloading the market apk file, And I downloaded and installed it but another problem appeared, When I open the market it gave me a force close Error, What should I do ?

Hi modyzinc, and welcome to AF

Firstly, apologies but I've merged your threads. As you posted first in All Things Root I assume that the device is rooted, but may have that wrong.

Also apologies because there is a limit to what I can do to help as I don't know this device - hopefully someone else who does will be able to do better.

My best guess is that you might have a version of the play app that doesn't work well with your ROM. If you tell us where you got it from/what version that might help. You could try clearing data for the Market app and then see if it's any better, but that's a bit of a long shot.

It seems odd that a stock ROM didn't include it though. Maybe it will help someone if you can say exactly what file you used there too?
