Some Google Apps Don't Work as System Apps?

I was hoping for a little guidance on this subject as I can't seem to find a good answer on Google. I got my first android phone (LG MS500), been tinkering and programming for the OUYA for a couple years though, and ran into an odd issue. I tried making some of the Google apps I like system apps, but this seems to bugger some of them (Hangouts, Hangouts Dialer, Maps, Google+ and Photos.) Now this is not a big deal, but I just wanted to make sure this is indeed what is causing the issues before I gave up on that.

What happens is after I move the apps with Titanium Backup, on the next reboot, the apps will either crash when I try to start them OR they give some other useless error (Hangouts for example simply says it can not sign in.) I have tried clearing the cache and the likes, but still the error persists until I move it back to user space.

Does anyone have any experience in this field as I would love a little feedback on this. For anyone that is curious, I wanted to make them system apps so they would survive a reset. I don't use the mobile side of the device and instead use it strictly as a Google Voice/Hangouts phone, which is working out great. I just want to make sure that if I had to reset it, all the apps I need are in the ROM. :D
