A new national vulnerability alert has gone out by way of Homeland Security. The vulnerability is said to affect several Huawei smartphones, including the Mate S, P8, Honor 6, and Honor 6 Plus.
The vulnerability allows an attacker to issue a DDoS to the smartphone which would result in a device reboot. The vulnerability may only be targeted if a specific app installed on the phone triggers it.
