Some Nexus 6P users are having Bluetooth issues with Android 7.1.1 Nougat

Nexus 6P and 5X owners are reporting that their in-car Bluetooth is not working after updating to Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Google has yet release a fix for this issue.

Hey Everyone,

Thank you for your reporting your issues with bluetooth connectivity on 7.1.1. We made certain changes to support a communication standards upgrade in 7.1.1, which seem to have resulted in interoperability issues for some users. We have identified a fix which we should be able to release soon.

Some of you have mentioned that reverting back to 7.0 Nougat fixes the issue, so that is an option to try until the issue is fully resolved in a future OTA update.

We will keep you all updated!

The Bluetooth stack is pretty complicated/messy, so I'm sure Google is taking their time with the fix to make sure they don't introduce even more problems. Hopefully we'll have that fix soon.
