Well, there's always some celebrities who have committed rape and got away with it. There is one case of a movie director who raped a child and then left the country, to continue to a successful director. I think our morals are in the wrong place.

What Polanski did is horrible, but as my friend found out in horror the other day, he's surely gotten some horrific karma punishment in the form of when Sharon Tate was brutally murdered. So yeah, that's some horrible stuff.
