Help Some questions

a: where is the "equalizer / effect" on their music

b: where to access files/folders (on the phone)

c: where is the "program monitor" ? (to see "active application" and "clear memory on ram")

a) Normally, it's somewhere in Settings -> Sound. Although a lot of the music apps have their own equalisers.

b) You'll most likely need a 3rd Party File Manager like Astro or ES File Explorer, both of which can be downloaded on Play.

c) Settings -> Apps -> Running should give you a list of the running apps. Alternatively, you can press the recent apps key and clear stuff from there by swiping it away.

Hope that helps :)

Thank you for your quick reply.

a: before the post, I did check out the settings of the music,....but found none effect/ equalizer

b: I was looking for something like those in Galaxy.... the "files" app

c: for testing I tried opening some apps, e.g. youtube. But I don't know if I did really stop the apps. (coz you know how sometimes if you may have not turned off the app, and the app is still running, and using the battery)
And I cannot find the "clear memory" on the "ram" section.

Ditto to everything Pres said. Please re-read his item C.

Re: A and B, Poweramp has a great equalizer, which pairs well with the 601's features, and Root Explorer is another good file manager.

Oops! My apologies! Running apps don't allow you to clear data. But other apps, for example On SD Card, allow you to clear data or clear cache. Hope that helps.

No worry. And thanks for reply. I know very basic and trying my best to explain. Thanks for the patient reading and replying me.

May be i should phrase it this way, in the past when I use samsung galaxy, they have "program monitor" widget, that you click in and see if there's any active apps (running behind the scene), and that's what I am looking for, I wonder if htc desire has such function so I can turn off some apps to save battery. And also to clear ram (so it doesn't un-nesscessary slow down the phone)

For question C, I did manage to arrive at "running" by click into "settings" --> "apps", but it doesn't seems to "always" reveal what's running/active (I open youtube to test it). And sometimes even it does reveal, it doesn't give me the option to "exit"
