Interesting. Quite interesting.

Did you know that the potato chip was the result of an angry cook. Someone was complaining that the cook's french fries were too thick and had no flavor. As a way to get back at the customer, the cook sliced the potato slices almost paper thin and he salted it.

It turned out the customer liked it, it became a hit.

History of the Potato Chip

From the article:

1853 George Crum invents the Saratoga Chip, a thin French fry, now known as the potato chip
1960 Crum opened his own restaurant, featuring potato chips in a basket placed on every table..

How old was he?

Internet has gone through through Planking, Owling, Harlem shakes and will survive though half peeled potatoing.

Incredible...I'd still eat them, properly cooked, the skin is still good. Nothing a little salt, pepper, cheese, butter, bacon, chives, can't fix.

It's a matter of seeing the glass being half full of half empty ;)
Do you cut/peel your potatoes before or after cooking?

The potato chip isn't Saratoga's crowning achievement, but it helps put the place on the map. Oh yeah, we have this little place called the Saratoga Racetrack that has horse races every year, and has for 150 years.

That picture in the OP is ROFL funny though!
