Someone's hacking into my account!

I apologize since I don't know where to put this, and I don't know whom to contact about this matter but I have an email since friday(I have one just 5mins ago) that someone just tried to log in into my account. The IP is not even from my country.

Please help.

And never use the same password anywhere else, use different passwords for different sites - this is what they are after, this is what they (most noobie hackers) are trying to guess at - DO NOT use a single generic password for everywhere!

So please maximise your security by using different passwords for different places, and you can generate as many passwords as you like by using this link:

Security Guide for Windows - Random Password Generator

This will generate 50 unique passwords for you (or anyone - it is personal to the person clicking it) to use wherever you wish, (copy & paste the results to a txt file on your machine, save it, then only use copy & paste to use the passwords, try to get used to not typing in the passwords on your machinery) by altering the conditions at the bottom, you can create even more passwords that suit your needs, stronger ones if necessary.

Good luck.

What account are they trying to hack? Your gmail account? If so:

Getting started with 2-step verification - Accounts Help

Even if they figure out your password, they'll have to get a randomly generated 6 digit number that refreshes every 30 seconds that can only be found on your phone. And only one phone can be registered with a particular google account (but you can have multiple gmail accounts on the same phone). So they would have to find your phone's details and hack your phone, get the key, and load your email address (as well as figure out your actual password). All in 30 seconds.

Yeah, that'll make it so you're not worth their time.

nothing you can do about .. someone or something trying ...

just make sure that password is unique to this site only. so that it can not be tried on your other accounts.
