Something a bit like Windows Task Manager, that logs?

Hey guys

I've a Mi Box 3 Android TV Box and I want to use adb to try and disable the system update routine.

It's currently at Android 8 and I need it to stay that way, but every time I connect to the internet it automatically tries to update.

I thought about trying to use a network monitor to see which sites it connects to and block those on my router, but it jumps in so quick with the android update that I cannot risk it, so disabling the update routine I'm hoping might be a solution.

I've tried some activity loggers but they don't show it.

Wondered if anyone out there knew of an app that might be a bit like Windows task manager, but can write to a log file all the programs that open and close etc.

Grateful for any advice.

You could try installing No Root Firewall, from the play store. It gives you connection options to all apps on your device, but not sure if it can block system updates.
