Something better than checking history?

i need to monitor someones internet use on their samsung galaxy s.
My good friend is working on overcoming a porn addiction, it is ruining his family. Itt was suggested I monitor his internet use. He can just delete his history.
Is there a way I can do this?

Is he rooted? Put Droidwall and set it to block known porn sites?

I was thinking about that but this is just to see how often hes visiting which sites at what time of day.
