Help Something in recent apps appears not to be an app wont clear

I have an LG G Stylo and when I went to clear recent apps something strange to me that isnt an app will not clear. This device is new to me though I am very familiar to android. Can anyone help? I included a screen shot. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well is Gray out cuz there's no apps to clear up....i don't see nothing wrong there

That square has was not there before. I use the clear apps button all the time and it just appeared there last night while using my phone. I am Android smart. Just haven't had a stylo ever before. There was no update. It just appeared.

i have that grey box and im pretty sure its always been there

Yep always been there for me as well, both on ZV4 and ZV5...don't know about ZV3 (5.0.2) tho
