something wrong with my sd card?

If you have a card reader on your PC put the card in your PC and see if you can see the contents.

If not then open the cmd window and run the following command

chkdsk /X /F [drive letter]: without the brackets.

No, Manage Apps would be completely unrelated (except in so far as some apps can be placed partially on SD). Since your phone says SD card blank or has unsupported file system, there is probably nothing you can do to find anything on the card using your phone. You'll have to try another phone/tablet/computer.

This very similar thread has a number of troubleshooting steps you should try:

it's fine now. i have no idea why it randomly did that. what all goes on the sd card besides games and stuff?

Parts of apps (including games) can go on it. Many apps will store some data on it. Mainly though, you can place your own files on it...songs, videos, ebooks, etc.

anything important that automatically gets stored on it? im thinking about formating the sd card and want to make sure im not gonna screw anything up.

Did you try the chkdsk command?

If that fixes the errors you won't need to format it.

It's easy enough to know if anything important is on it. Pop it out and test everything on your phone.

You could also back it up on your computer before formatting it.

theres no more error shark. im only thinking about formatting the sd card because the free space is running low even though i only have 4 games on my phone

so i erased the sd card yesterday then re downloaded the 4 games i had. i checked a little bit later after installing the last game and it said 169mb used which is strange for the 4 games i have. i checked a little bit ago and it said 301mb used. the hell is using up the space on my sd card?

Use a disk usage analyzer. If you have ES File Explorer it has a feature called SD Analyst or something like that, find it in the menu. If not, install it or a standalone disk usage analyzer. I haven't found one that I love so I hesitate to recommend one, but this one is kinda ok:

Edit: Ooh, we have a winner. I just tried this tiny 32KB one and it does exactly what I wanted, despite its terrible reviews.

Edit 2: Ok, now that one is less awesome. Darn it.

If the SD is acting funky, strange things happening, etc. Change it. It could very well be worn out. They don't last forever, and do have a definite life expectancy.

To put a close to that issue....

That one gives me what I want and actually works right. It's not tiny like the other one but 1.6MB isn't staggeringly portly.
