Sometimes my phone restarts when I take a photo

It's annoying, I've read posts on here about it, but none about the photo related thing.
I've only got a few apps and two games on my phone.
Nothing major, so don't know where the restarting comes from.
It's insured with Carephone Warehouse (Geek Squad).

Well it's a low end device, so you'll always have issues with it

Thats a 2016 vintage phone i think.....

So, if there is any chance of extended warranty NOW would be the time to claim on it

If you got the CPW extended warranty insurance, they should be able to sort it I think.

Given it's an HTC, and not some no-name cheapo thing, I wouldn't have thought it would always have issues

Do I just go up to Carephone Warehouse? I have a letter they sent me last year with my protection plan number on it.
What will they do?

Try doing a factory reset but backup everything

I've never had to do that before, so how do I do it?

I used to have that issue in my §5..I don't know if it's because I'm rooted..but the only solution was to get rid of the factory camera that comes with the phone..

Go into your phone settings, backup and reset, reset phone....

It's stopped doing the thing. Maybe tomorrow I will take it into Carephone Warehouse and ask them to fix it.
