Sometimes - read a QR code on phone screen?

Sometimes when I try to login in a network/WiFi I receive a QR code on my smartphone. Is it possible to read a QR code on my smartphone and if yes how should I do it?

I'm pretty sure Google Goggles can read codes from an image. There's plenty of QR apps on Play, can't recommend any particular one though. Wechat can read QRs.

I've tried several...
QRDroid Code Scanner (DroidLa) can scan it.
You can download the image and scan from the gallery, or (easier) share the image and decode it with the app.

Thanks for all comments but the problem is to read the QR code appearing on my smartphone when I want to login in a particular WiFi network with the same smartphone??

Nobody has any idea how to handle a QR code appearing on my smartphone when I try to login with that same smartphone??

Take a screen-shot of the QR as it appears on the screen from the whatever it is app that generates the QRs, and then scan the screen-shot with Goggles or Wechat or other QR code reader.

But quite frankly I've never heard of going through such steps just to connect into a WiFi network
. I've seen for some public WiFi they have a QR on a wall or board somewhere, and you scan that with the phone's camera.
